Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled content that has been (independently) verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, social, environmental, and chemical criteria related to processing are required.
REDcert² certified
The REDcert² standard is the new standard on the “Use of sustainable biomass for material purposes in the chemical industry.
EqoBalance yarns follow the biomass balance approach, which ensures that at the very start of the supply chain, natural renewable raw materials replace fossil resources in the production of polymers processed into yarns. By choosing these yarns, carpet tufters can contribute to a sustainable future through less use of fossil resources and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
EcoVadis Gold Metal
B.I.G. Yarns earned a EcoVadis Gold Medal, a recognition awarded to the Top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis. It reflects the quality of the company's sustainability management system and demonstrates a commitment to promoting transparency throughout the value chain.
EcoVadis is an independent platform and is recognized globally for trusted business sustainability ratings.
The evaluation areas are environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

Voka Charter Sustainable Entrepeneurship
B.I.G. Yarns has been awarded the 2024 Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship by the Voka evaluation committee. This achievement reflects our dedication to aligning all our 2023 actions with the United Nations' sustainable development goals.

Certification French Decree Industrial Plastics Granules
B.I.G. Yarns' French plant has been certified for compliance with the French decree regarding pellet losses in the environment. As the French government strengthened its fight against losses of industrial plastic pellets by law, it has become a legal requirement for facilities to adapt their equipment, particularly their collection systems, and to implement procedures to prevent these pellets to spread and protect the marine environment. (Decree on Industrial Plastics Granules no. 2021-461 of 16 April 2021.)
ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System
The certificate validates the ongoing commitment to reduce the environmental impact of our production activities. The certification confirms that our production plants have an adequate Environmental Management System to control the environmental impact and to continually improve the environmental performance of our activities in a systematic, effective and sustainable way.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
The Beaulieu Yarns Quality Management System has been ISO 9001 certified since 1996.
At Beaulieu Yarns Weihai the Quality Management System has been ISO 9001 certified since 2016.
ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
At B.I.G. Yarns Weihai the Quality Management System has successfully obtained certification ISO 45001, Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
